The controller of your personal data is Tango Viento, operated by Sergey Royz, based in Prague, Czech Republic. You can reach us at sergey@tangoviento.cz.

2. What Data We Collect

When you submit the registration form on our website, we collect the following personal data:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Dance experience (if provided)

We also collect standard web analytics data (page visits, browser type, approximate location) through Google Analytics. This data is anonymised and aggregated.

3. Why We Collect It

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

  • To process your registration and enrol you in the appropriate class
  • To contact you with details about the class schedule, location, and payment
  • To notify you of upcoming workshops or events you have expressed interest in

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Processing of your data is based on your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the registration form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at sergey@tangoviento.cz. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service you registered for and for up to 12 months thereafter. If you do not join a class within 6 months of submitting the form, your data will be deleted. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Who Has Access to Your Data

Your data is accessed only by Tango Viento staff involved in organising classes. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except where required by law. Our website uses Google Analytics (Google LLC), whose privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

8. Complaints

If you believe we are handling your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection supervisory authority:

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered participants by email.
