Argentine Tango
A living conversation between two people — improvised, intimate, endlessly deep.
History
Born in the late 19th century on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, tango emerged from a melting pot of cultures — African, European, and indigenous. It began as street dance and became a world art form.
What Makes It Unique
Unlike choreographed dances, Argentine tango is fully improvised. The leader proposes, the follower interprets. Every dance is a unique dialogue — no two tangos are ever the same.
For Body & Mind
Tango improves posture, coordination, and balance. It sharpens focus and presence — you must listen with your whole body. Many find it meditative.
A Living Culture
Tango is danced in milongas — social dance evenings with their own codes and etiquette. It is UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, celebrated across the world.
Your Teachers

Alina
A lifelong dancer and performer, Alina discovered Argentine tango six years ago after leaving two contemporary dance companies. Just three months into her tango journey, she traveled to Buenos Aires for a full month of intensive study with top maestros, dancing nearly non-stop. Since then, she has continued exploring tango across Europe, always seeking new ways to make learning joyful and effective. Alina loves sharing shortcuts — helping students find confidence in their bodies and joyful expression in the dance.

Sergey
Sergey began dancing tango in 2011 in Moscow. With a background in programming, martial arts, and movement practices like Wing Chun and Tai Chi, his approach is both logical and intuitive. During two intensive trips to Buenos Aires, he experienced the magic of close embrace — a moment that reshaped his understanding of tango. Now he helps students connect with that same spark — that moment when it all just clicks.

FAQ
Do I need a partner to join?+
No partner required. We rotate partners during class so everyone dances with everyone.
What should I wear?+
Comfortable clothes you can move in. For shoes — anything with a smooth sole. Avoid sneakers with rubber soles that grip the floor.
I have never danced in my life — is tango for me?+
Absolutely. Our Tango From Zero course is designed for complete beginners. No prior dance experience needed.
How many people are in a class?+
We keep groups small — typically 6 to 12 people — so everyone gets individual attention.
What language are classes taught in?+
Classes are taught in English by default. If everyone in the group speaks Russian or Czech, we are happy to switch.
Can I join mid-course?+
For the Tango From Zero course, we recommend starting from the beginning. For Intermediate, joining mid-course is possible after a brief assessment.
How do I pay?+
